He travels extensively
throughout the province pre-
senting his repetorie of fam-
iliar folk tunes interspersed
with the occasional tale from
a foreign land.

spent the past week with the
former's sisters, Mrs. L. C.
Thompson and Mrs. Stuart
Collyer of Lucknow and Mrs.
Ron Rothwell. of Norwood,
who is presently holidaying
at Point Clark.
Mrs. Laura McConachie of
Brampton, who suffered a
heart attack a number of
weeks ,ago, is now out of the
hospital and is progressing
favourably.• Laura is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Spence Irwin, Lucknow.

held at the farm of George

p.m. Vice-president, Ralph
Nivins, opened the meeting
with the pledge.

group went to the barn to see
a brief demonstration of
clipping, cleaning, grooming
and leading of a calf, by Ken i
Mewhinney.
They then took approxi-
mately fifteen minutes to
complete and take up the
lessons and adjourned for a
snack of donuts and pop.
