Lucknow girl and English Mend visit Vancouver
Judith Armitage of Shef-
field, England. is spending
five weeks with the Don
Thompson family of Luck -
now. After Judith's arrival in
Toronto on August 4, Judith
and .Susan 'Thompson went to
Vancouver via train where
• they spent a week with Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Hewat and
family. They returned last
Wednesday by plane.
Judith and Susan spent
last weekend with the Luck -
now. Brownies at a camp near
Owen Sound.
This week the girls are
spending a few days with Dr.
and Mrs. Fraser Ashton and
family at Aylmer, Quebec.
They plan to spend a day in
tvloiltreal while there.
Next week, Susan and Jud-
ith intend to spend a few
days in Toronto, visiting with
Mr. and Mrs. Rod McFar-
lane at Brampton.
Judith and Susan met two
years ago when Judith spent
some time with the Thomp-
son family before the girls
attended International Girl
Guide Camp at Cape Breton.
Susan visited with the Armi-
tage family in Sheffield, Eng-
land for three weeks. last
summer.
This Week In

15 former Pine River "Girls"
gathered at the home of Mts.
Hilda Ackert. A bounteous
pot luck luncheon was enjoy-
ed and a social hour enjoyed.
