The Lucknow Brownie Pack spent the weekend camping at Camp Aneesh near Owen Sound.
They left from the Town Hall where they gathered with _their baggage and camping
equipment on Friday afternosn. In the foreground are, Ecom the left, Heather Priests'',
Cindy Struthers, Angela Glenn And Lisa Coker. The girls were accompanied by their
I leaders, Lloya Nkholson, Elaine Steer, Linda Owen and Spoon Thompson and helpers, Gail
Prtichard and Kim Owen Judith Armitage of Sheffield, England, who is visiting with Susan
Thompson, also attended the camp. She is a Girl Guide Leader in England. The Lucknow.
Brownies are penpals with the Brownie Pack in England whose leader is Judith's mother.

Sympathy of the commun-
ity is extended to relatives of
Graham Moffat who passed
away in Wingharn Hospital
on August 1§ after a lengthy
illness. Graham lived in the
Langside district where he
farmed till about ten years
ago when he retired. to Tees -
water.
• Winnie Visser of Wingham
returned_ home on Sunday
after spending a few days
with Joanne de Boer.
Mr. and Mrs. Ewart Taylor
of Saskatchewan and Mrs.
Graham Moffat of Teeswat-
er, visited with Mr. and Mrs. .
Wesley Tiffin, Whitechurch,
on Sunday and also attended
the service at the Presby-
terian Church • at White-
church. Mr. Taylor and his
sister, Mrs. Moffat, spent
their childhood at Langside
where they resided on the
former Robert Stewart tarm
and received their education
at Langside school.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Vander -
Klippe, formerly of Guelph,
are leaving this week for
Mexico where. they plan to
rake their home. Bill is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry
VariderKlippe of Langside.
