The 'regular. August ses-
sion of West Wawanosh
Township Council was held
in the Municipal Office at the
Public Works Building on
Tuesday evening; August 7,
1979..All members .,attended
and Reeve Foran presided,
Harry Brindley, Dungan•
-
non, appeared before Coun-
cil with questions concerning
drainage on . his property' in
Dungannon, and p also the
possibility of holding aliquor
vote in. .West Wawanosh.
Motion by`Councillors Aitchi-
son and Durnin; "That West
Wawanosh Township Coun-
cil hereby agrees to instigate
the necessary proceedings
for a liquor plebiscite in the ,
Municipality."

someone to tag dogs
The Township of Kinloss
council met on August 7 with
reeve Barry Johnston and all
council members present.
A motion by councillors
Eckenswiller. and McBride
was passed instructing the
clerk to advertise in the
Lucknow : and Teeswater
newspapers for a person to
count, collect fees for and
issue tags for. ;dogs in the
township, Applications are to
be in to the township office
by 54.1)0"p.in. on August 20.
Approval was given for
building" permits for Morri-
son Brothers, lot 34, conces-
sion 3 for a machinery shed;
Michael O'Neil, lot 13, con-
cession 4 for feed bin; Allan
Graham, lot 12, :concession 4.
for a machinery shed, cattle
barn and grain bin; Wayne
Rhody, lot 4, concession 10
for a pig barn, manure.' .pit
and grain bin and for James
Young, lot 2.7; concession 7,
for -a steel shed.
It is necessary for the
township too adopt residential
standards as set down in. the
Ontario Home Renewal Pro-
gram guide for residential
standards by the'Coimmunity
Renewal' Branch of the Min-
istry of.Housinlg before appli-
cation can be made for
Ontario Home renewal
grants. General accounts for
$54;158.17 and highways ac-
counts for 823,460.17 were
• ordered paid.
Kinloss. Council also . met
July 16 whereat the quota-
tion of Armco Canada Ltd. of
$5,333 was accepted for cor-
rugated metal . pipe for the
extension of sideroad 35:
