Grey Bruce Simmental
Club plan picnic
The Gre Bruce Simmental
Club executive met on July
11th at thehome of Tony and
LeonaVanschureen, Flesher-
ton. All executive members
were in attendance.
Plans for the Grey Bruce
Simmental picnic on July 22
at the home of Milton and
Marian 'iVfe'Arthur- on Simcoe
,County Road 9, 3 miles east
of Creemore, were finalized.
Members and those interest-
ed in Simmental cattle are
invited to come and bring a
picnic basket. Drinks will be
available. A judging compe-
tition will be held with all
participating. Judge Charlie
Henshaw will do the official
placing. The picnic will take
place \rain or shine starting at
2 p.m.
Transcon have circulated
the entry forms for our fall
sale at the Walkerton Little
Royal Fair on October 12.
Members are reminded that
entries are to be returned by
August 1st to give Transcon
time to visit those entering
cattle.
Plans were discussed re
salesfipromotion and decora-
ting for the sale. Suggestions
from the general member-
ship would be welcome.
