Hyng Ngoc Dimh, 19 and his sister, Liey Thi Dimh, .16, lived in a refugee camp in Thailand before ,coming- to Canada to make their home with the de Bruyn family. Mrs. Ross Hawkins, and daughters, Panja Jane, Hil- ary, Mary Beth. and Karen recently spent a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman de Bruyn. Mrs. de Bruyn's brother, Harry van der . Hulst visited with them last week from New Zealand. He attended the wedding of his niece, Gemma de Bruyn, and Orland Levesque, Kap- askasing in Owen Sound on July 14. Also attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs: de '`Bruyn and Victor, and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hawkins and family of Elgin. On the 'weeknd Mr. and Mrs. John Jamieson, Bobbie and Dale visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walmsley and family holidaying at Bobcay- geon. The community will be pleased to learn that Mrs. D. Adams returned hbme on Thursday from Wingham Hospital. Mrs. Agnes Farrier return- ed home on Friday after visiting last week with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gillespie of Sarnia. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Farrish of Guelph, former store keepers in Whitechurch, on their way home Saturday _evening from the Farrish family picnic, called on Mr. and Mrs. Victor, Emerson, wishing to be remembered to ail. Mrs. Edith Brown of Lon- don spent part of the week- end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans. After a ' week's holidays Mr. and Mrs: Earl Wilkens returned home on ; Sunday evening., The weather being favour- able, memorial services will be held. in Langside Cetnet- ery on Sunday, July 29 at 3 p.m. with Rev.
