But, it's the fifteen calls prior to that that bugs you, "Let you.r fingers do the walking" says the ad for the yellow pages. And they're right. The telephone and the yellow pages 'are valuable tools. What would it be like without the -phone? Great you say. No way! 1 tried it in. Africa -- for three years. And it's no fun. I'd spend a whole morning walking and looking for one small part. Or calling on people who were busy • calling on others. David Marshall, a farmer near Kirkton, knows how to• use the phone. If he needs 'a load of sOybean meal he phones around to at least three feed dealers for .the best price. They know what he's doing. No bargaining is necessary. • It's a good idea to say who you are.
