Vandals damage Lucknow property
A series of incidents in the
village during the past
months indicate vandals still
enjoy • damaging property
which belongs to other peop-
le.
This spring someone
plucked the blooms from
tulips in_the flower beds at
the post office. The person or
persons involved • did not
even bother to take home a
bouquet but rather, plucked
the blooms scattering the
petals on the ground. •
Someone else decided to
play "ape" and swung from
the new service club signs
erected by the Horticultural
Society at the entrances to
the village, The signs were
bent and one.stood on 'a lean

Mr. and Mrs.. Hugh Menary celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary on June 29, 1979. They were married in Lucknow
in 1929 and reside at R. 7, Lucknow. Mrs. Menary b the
former (Sarah] Dolly Cooke of West Wawanosh. A. family
gatherhig was held atthe home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Blake.
Mr. and Mrs. Menary have a family of two daughters, Irene,
Mrs. Keith Blake of. R. 7, Lucknow; Caryle, Mrs. Keith
Hickling of R. 4, Hanover and a son, Ron, R. 7, Lucknow.
They have seven grandchildren an4 two great grandchildren.
