Trinity church presents awards
The Sunday School of
Trinity United Church, Ash-
field, held its annual church
service and awards presenta-
tion on Sunday, .June 24 at
11.00 a...m. The call to
worship was given by super-
intendent Frank Alton.
The Intermediate Class led
in the prayer and Lord's
prayer. Jesus Loves the little
Children, was presented by
the Kindergarten and Prim-
ary classes, after which the
Junior Class led in the
responsive reading of Psalm
103 and then sang, When We
Show Our Love.
The loose collection from
the offering is to go to the. M
& S fund of the church. The
offering and offertory prayer
was taken by the Junior High
Class. Strong Jesus, was
sung by the Primary Junior
Class.
The message for this Sun-
day centred around the
theme, Families are for
Loving, and was presented
by the Senior .High Class.
They gave some of 'the
background study which led
them to make the new
banner, which now hangs on
the church wall.
Evelyn Hackett presented
certificates to Sheilla Camp-
bell, Paul Hackett and Deb-
bie Raynard for memorizing
• the primary catechism. Sher-
ry Alton presented a Bible to
Suzanne Alton, Diane Ray-
nard and Steven Alton for
learning the first half of the
Senior Catechism. George
