Whitechurch Women's In-
stitute .heldtheir bus trip. on
Wednesday with Allan Nich-
olson their bus driver. They
toured Grey and Bruce .Coun-
ties, visiting- such places as
Chatsworth Fish Hatcheries;
Owen Sound, Wiarton and
L.iQns Head. All :felt it was a
most enjoyable tour.
Andy • Versteeg last week
had the misfortune to have
two fingers on his left hand.
injured in a. lawn mower
mishap which necessitated a
trip to• London Hospital. He
is 'home with it all . taped up
and able to attend school.

a very speedy recovery.

ices. Music was supplied by
organist Agnes Farrier and
pianist Janet Laidlaw.
The topic of the morning
sermon was The Royal Priv-
ilege. The choir anthem was

The evening sermon con-

A fellowship hour. with
refreshments was held in the
Sunday Schoolroom follow-
ing the service.

where he spent the rest of

Karen Beecroft entered
her story, "The Family Pic-
nic", in the Rural Voice
paper and received second
prize for it.
Weare pleased to report
that Mary Laidlaw was ,able
to return home on• Saturday
from the Wingham Hospital
much improved in health.
