Mrs. Madge Buchanan of Kirkland Lake visited this week with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Clark. The community welcomes Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilk, ins. The Wilkins have been living in the remodelled school house- for a couple of weeks now. There has been a. lot of roadside activity ,this week. 'hie oil drillers are back again this summer, testing the area and Bell Canada has also been doing a lotof work laying new underground cable. Don MacDonald was an over niight patient at Wing- ham and District Hospital. Don dislocated his shoulder during a ball game at the Wingham tournament. The South Bruce Track and Field Meet was held in Kincardine on June 15, The first and second place, '9 and 10 year old winners of each event participated there.
