South Kinloss Sunday School and Church annual picnic was held on Saturday at the end of the 12th of Ashfield. A ood crowd came out and al enjoyed . the afternoon event and the delicious supper. e weath- er was also in our favour. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Howald and family were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Read of Clearwater, Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Read and family of Elmira and Mr. and Mrs. Blake Read and family of Waterloo. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson and family of Toronto visited with Mr. and Mrs. Don Bell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Barry John- ston are happy to have little Shelly home with them now. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mc- Quillin, Sarnia and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Doek and Alysia, Corunna visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. . Richard McQuillin. Mr: Hugh Houston visited. with Mr. and Mrs., Richard McQuillin last weekend. Auendwedding On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Don Reid attended the Cosgrove- MacTavish wedding in Wingham. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Farrell have moved into their new home in Kin- cardine. The community ex- tends sympathy to Mr. and Mrs.. John Farrell on the death of John's father, Mr. Lester Farrell. On Tuesday ev.erling, Mrs. Alma Gillies, Mrs. June Elliott and ' Mrs. Wilma Sutton journeyed. to Clinton to attend a meeting of the Huron Tract Weaver's and Spinners Guild. Sunday afternoon callers with Mrs. Marion Emerson were Mrs. Fran Emerson and Susan of Goderich. Miss Kathy Farrell is spending a week at her home here before. heading for. Western Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Morley Scott .visited with Mrs. Marion Martin of 'West Montrose on Sunday. Kenneth Martin 'of Kit- chener returned with the Scott's for some holidays. Mr. Jack Hutton of Blufston, Alberta, visited last week with his sister, Mrs. Jack Farrell,' A family gathering was held at the Farrell's on Sunday. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. . Courtney MacDonald, London, Mr. Jim Farrell, Miss Fran Logtenberg, and Mr. Don Hutton. The summer picnic season got,,underway on Saturday at, the Center. Forty members of the Campbell clan gathered for their annual picnic. An enjoyable, time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Norval ;tanley visited \Mr. and Mrs. Howard Peter, in Wiarton, on Sunday.
