• Kindergarten class goes on Safari
• On Thursday, May 31,
1979,. the Kindergarten clas-
ses went on a bus trip to the
African Lion Safari in Rock -
ton. The weather was beauti-
ful and everyone enjoyed
seeing the wild animals. The
monkeys were not as lively as
usual, hdwever, one did .sit
on the bus hood and guide us
through monkey land.
• Once again the giraffes
were the favourite as they
stuck their heads in the bus
windows and everyone got to
feel their noses."
An exciting hour was spent
in the pet corner, especially
when 'the goat ate Mark
MacLeod's envelope with his
52.00 in it.
To complete our happy
day, we did some souvenir
'shopping, had some refresh -
dents and headed for home.
