Baptismal service was held at South Kinloss church on Sunday. Matthew, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Eadie and Shawn, ion of Mr. and Mrs. Jim MacKinnon, were bap- tized. Betty Colwell of Sudbury was home for the weekend. Mrs. Herb Buckton attend- ed the relative shower at the home of Mrs. Bruce Hamil ton, Lucknow, for Janet Barr of Kinlough. Mr. and Mrs. Graham Pinkney of Ajax visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Collyer. They Also opened their cot- tage at thelake over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ma clntyre,. Marilynne and Sandy attended the baptism of their niece and cousin, Melanie Margaret, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bannerman, : at Kincardine on Sunday: The Lucknow School Band Concert was a success again on Saturday evening. A very, good crowd' turned out to the Community Centre to hear. the band we are all -so proud of. Mr. Cayley announced that bus load of 77 members are off to Standish, Michigan on Wednesday morning for three days to play at different places. We wish them all the best and have a good trip. Helen Todd and Isabel Miller visited with Florence Stewart in Chicago, Illinois, during the long weekend. Theywere accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Miller of London. Mr. ' and Mrs. Verdon Ducharme of Wingham join- ed with Amanda Todd to help celebrate her second birth- day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Todd. A livelyauction of plants and li'ulbs took place with Mrs: Elaine Errington acting as auctioneer: Mrs. Dorothy Miller serv- ed a delicious lunch and Miss Isobel Miller gave the court- esy remarks.
