These seniors who are all over 80 years old were honoured
with a gift at the Town and Country Bowling League
banquet on May 10. Left to right are Janet Drennan,

The Violets were, the.season champs in the Town and
Country Bowling League. The, Henderson trophy was
presented to team captain, Harry Lavls by Jean Jardine,
left. The team memberunre from the left, Mr. Lavis, Spence
Irwin, Mae MacDonald, Grace Canitibell,Susan McNaugh-
ton; Vera Purves, Vera Schmidt and Ida Barger.

The Senior Citizen's held
their bowling banquet in the
Parish Hall on May 10. A
lovely supper was served by
the ladies. Mrs. Mae Mac-
Donald thanked the ladies
and Mrs. Edith Cooper re-
plied.
Presentations :were then
given to the following win-
ners. Season's trophy was
presented to the Violets by
Mrs. Jardine, donated by
Henderson's Lumber Ltd. 10
years ago. The team is
captain, Harry Lavis, Susan
McNaughton, Vera Purvis,
Mae , MacDonald, Grac'e
Campbell. Ida Barger, Vera.
Schmidt, Spence Irwin.
