The.- event comprises a major one -day exhibition by more than fifty of Ontario's finest antique dealers, crafts- men, and artists. The show and sale will be held on Saturday, May 19th at the Blyth Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The festival enjoyed enormous success with its first-year venture into the vast Ontario antique and Circus is coming! On Thursday, May 31, the unique sounds, sights and smells of a real, old fash- ioned, tent Circus will seep into the hearts and souls of children of all ages in Lucknow as the all new 1979 edition of the Martin and Downs . Circus presents 2 performances at 6 and 8 p.m. under the sponsorship of the local Kinsmen Club.• Designedstrictly for fam- ily audiences and billed as an old time tent Circus, the Martin and Downs Circus will present 15 trained.anim- al and variety acts to please young and old alike. Adultswishing to relive childhood memories or to introduce their children or grandchildren to the magic of the big top, are invitedto the .. showgrounds at the fair- grounds on Circus morning, to see the raising of the big top, and the feedingof the animals. Blanche Pownall -Garrett will be on hand with her nation- ally -known books on natural recipes, along with lots of jars of home-made jellies and preserves.
