Mrs. Ron Baker and boys of Shelbourne, Mary Whit- ney of Milton and Jim Finlay of Windsor visited with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Allan and family on the weekend for Easter. Murray Keith of Waterloo was home during the week. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Barry Johnston and boys are Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Greig and family of Elmira: All attended the sale of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gawley. Mr. and Mrs. Ford , Cun- ningham. have returned home after spending acouple of weeks in Florida. Mrs. Philip Steer is conval- escing at home after spend- ing about 10 days in London hospital. We wish her .a speedy recovery.. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mac- Kinnon and Shawn of Guelph spent Easter weekend at home visiting with. Ted Collyer, Harry and Jim Lavis were some ,of the area people that enjoyed Easter weekend in Nashville. Mr. and Mrs.Clarence Ritchie, Mary Anne and Don- ald visited with their daugh- ter, Barb Arkell and John at Fort Erie for Easter Sunday. Easter weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Earl. Stever and Doug were Mr. and Mrs. Dons Kuntz of Kit- chener, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Rank of Heidelberg and Dick Vis of Kincardine. Ladies from this area went to Goderich , lasts Tuesday. evening to attend. the Ladies Synodical of the Presbyterian Church. Again this weekend was a busy weekend for the Midget Hockey team as they played in Marmora on Friday after- noon and back here on Satur- day. In Marmora on Sunday they went into overtime with a tie of 7 - 7. This makes Lucknow the winners of all Ontario Midget DD Cham- pionship. We offer them our congratulations. Easter visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Dick McQuillin and Ron were Don McQuillin of London, Donalda and Dawn MacLeod of Vanastra, Linda McQuillin of Toronto and Mr. and Mrs. Don Nickel and Shauna. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moffat returned home after.holiday- ing for two weeks in Calgary and other parts of Alberta with relatives. Friday, April.6 was a freek. spring day. It saw one of the worst stormsof the winter. People sure stayed indoors as: much as, possible. The high winds caused a lot of damage in this area. Hydro in some places was off for a number of hours: It was off at Mr. and Mrs: Dick McQuil- lin's for 23 hours. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Neu - field and family have arrived home after .holidaying in Florida for about 3 weeks. The Lucknow. and South Kinloss Young Peoples sang at Pinecrest •Nursing . Home and the Pine Lodge on Sun- day. Then on Tuesday even- ing, they participated at the Ladies Synodical of the Pres- byterian Church which was held at Goderich Presbyter- ian Church.
