Saturday morning saw the
.first year boys again play the
Ripley. B, team to a draw. The
final 2 - 2' score was a result
of a good team effort.' Luck -
now scorers were Rick Bech-
ard from Darrin McKim and
Freddie Flanagan from Min-
nie McFaden and Darrell
Durnin.
Saturday afternoon at 4.00
the•older lads resumed their
quest for the Mildmay
Tournament Championship.
A fast skating team from
Thornton, Ontario provided
one of .the better games ;of
the tournament. Fast skating
and close checking saw the
first period end in a scoreless
tie, A scramble in front of the
Lucknow net in the second
period proved tobe the only
goal in the garde and Thorn-
ton won 1-0. Tie Lucknow
boys played one of their bet-
ter games of the year and
had their share of scoring op-
portunities., Richard Mac -
Donald's fine •performance
On defence earned him the
Most Valuable Player award
for Lucknow.
