On Saturday, March 24th,
the local lads travelled to
Teeswater to compete in a
Tyke tournament.
Playing West Howick in
the first game, the lads
skated off with a 6 - 0 win.
Brad . De Groote had •2
goals with Rodney Cayley
getting 1 goal and 1 assist
and single goals going to Jeff
Gammie, Paul Helm and
David ,Cayley. Sammy Mur-
ray had. 3 assists.
Craig Irwin playing net
earned the shutout.
This win put the local lads
in the championship round.
Playing Teeswater in the
second game, the team failed
to score going down to defeat
and ending their playing in
the rest of the tournament..

boys played a strong game
beating South River 7 - 0.
