Langside BY LILLIAN YOUNG This cold frosty weather we have had this last while leaves no doubt that this is February. Langside bowlers who bowl in the mixed league in Wingham seem to be doing well. Several had their nam- es in the over 200 score about 2 weeks ago. Measles seem to be mak- ing their rounds this year with scholars attending F. E. Madill seeming to be the hardest hit. We hope they will all soon be better and able to go back to school, especially with exams soon coming up. In the hydro black out a week ago, hydro around here was off about 21/4 hours. Not long compared to some plac- es around Lucknow and district but unless you have a wood stove or ,fireplace, it doesn't take long for houses to get cold at this time of year.
