The Goderich,oldfinzers, who were gold medalists In Zurich, Switzer-
land at a tournament there In 1977, played the Lucknow oldthners in A
game at the Lucknow Kinsmen's winteir.carnlval on Sunday. Lucknow
gave the' medal wInners. a good fight for. their win deipite the 11 - 6
score. In this play GOdelich goalie Bill Crawford grabs the puck while

The door-to-doOr Ontario March of Dimes
canvass in Lucknow and Dungannon has now
been 'completed: Residents, in the villages'
and many rural people have been very
generous in their donations. The amount
received to date however is short of last
year's total and. in past years this campaign
has always Shown a considerable increase,
Campaign chairmen Bernice Davies and
Laura Lee Cayley hope that rural families
and anyone missed in the villages will
consider helping to make 1979 the best yet •
for handicapped adults in Ontario. • " •

The Lucknow and District Kinsnien Club,
in conjunction. with their Heritage Day
• celebration, held a winter carnival at the
Lucknow Arena on Sunday; February' 18th.-
, Main event of the day was the Oldtitners
hockey game between the Goderich team •
and the-Lucknow Oldtitnerst Goderich came
up on the winning end. of an 11 - 6' score.
Leading the Goderich team were Jack
• Meriam. with 6 points and Buck Million With
4 goals, Barry Johnston paced the Lucknow
. squad with .3 goals. The -Goderich team will
be playing in an international Tournament in
• Florida this April.
•Members of the Lucknow Figure Skating
Club provided the 'entertainine\nt between
periods, performing the Dutch Waltz, and a
Canasta Tanga., Participating for the figure
skaters were Gordoh Farrish, Karen Camp-
• Struthers,, Sandra Campbell, Sandra Irwin,. •
Christine F'arrish, Dian.ne Wilson and Julie
• Races were held after the hockey game
