Whitechurch villagecard games provide winter fun.

February with puff and
blow fills the ditches with the
'snow, but it did not prevent
little ground hog from seeing
his shadow last Friday. So we
prepare for six weeks more
winter -weather.
The village card games
were started last week. The
first was held at the home of
Mr. and Mrs.. John Gaunt
with an attendance of 15. No
further arrangements were
made . for the next party.
Wendy Kay of Kitimat
visited with Glenna Wilkens
last week and left on Wed=
nesday to visit. Aunt Gayle
Kay at Listowel.
Mrs. Agnes Farrier and
Mrs. Fred Tiffin attended the
United Church Presbyterial
at Exeter last Tuesday.
Debbie Allen of Holyrood,.
a Home Helper,' assisted.
Mrs. Haney Osborne with
her home work a few days
last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Emer-
son, Darlene, Sharon and
Brenda of . St. Catharines,
spent the weekend with Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
