The championship final was won handily by Lucknow who led Hensall 4-1 after the first period, 6-2 after two and finished the garne with four more goals in the last' period. The usual squally storm conditions threatened but the „girls were -able to conclude the event without difficulty.. Winners of the early draw and the trophy were Sheila Taylor : of Kin- cardine skipping, vice Barb' Kester, second Anne. Burton arid -Gail ' Gingras. Ripley took second place with Barb Liddle skipping, Anna MacTavish 'vice, Peg MacCharles second: and' iteteivirright as lead. Third place went , Th the Ann 'Bolton, rink of Walkerton and fourth` to the Phyl Durst rink from • God.erich. Gail Johnson's Ripley /rink took first place on, the later draw.. She had 'help • from vice '.Mary. Walden, ..second • Patsy: Van den 'Hogen and plead Joyce . Courtney. Second prize was won by Gail. Brownridge's rink .fron Vanastra. Third place t' went to the Royal Bank entry, w,th two ladies froth Kincardine and two from the Ripley staff. • Skipping the rink was Lois Kirkpatrick of .Kincardine, Kate Hunter of Ripley was the. vice, -- Laurie Gallant:.
