, Intended for last week
Hello readers..I hope you
have been keeping well.
through the week despite the
poor weather. Saturday. and
Sunday were the worst days.
Many were strandedin their
own homes.
It managed to stay clear
enough for the Holyrood
Women's Institute euchre
party. An enjoyable evening
was had by all last week at
the Holyrood Hall where the
party was held.

Connie, formerly of this area,
became the proud parents of
a "bouncing baby boy" -last
Monday. Congratulations to
Dave and Connie.
It's a nice feeling to know
that !you have a lot . more
friendsthan you thought.
Certainly Mr. and Mrs. J.
Meyer, who recently lost
their'.,: home and ` • personal,,,.
belongings , by fire, found
that they did. Mrs. Meyer
.was surprised when her
friends held a•shower for her
last Wednesday. Mrs. Meyer
was given linen, pots and
"pans and many rice honk;
hold articles. A datr.ce will be
held for the Meyer's benefit
in the next month. I hope it
will be a success.
Well that about finishes
the news this week so bye for
now.
Thought for the Week:
There are no other friends by

we are.
