services at Whitechurch Un-

Presbyterian Church were.
cancelled on. Sunday.
Mr. Lloyd, PfdHips; a form-
er resident of this communty
and faithful attender of Chal-
mers Presbyterian Church
passed away suddenly on
Saturday, January 13. at
Wingham, where he had
, resided the last year. The
community extends sym-
pathy to his sisters, Ruth and
Verna and nieces and neph-
ews.

that Mr, Elgin Wellwood of
Orangeville passed away
Sunday, January 7 with the
funeral on Thursday, Janu-
ary 11.. Attending the funeral
from here were Mrs, Robert
Mowbray, Mrs, Velma Fal-
coner and Art Ernewein. The
community extends sympa—
thy to his son Richard Well -
wood, Mrs. Wellwood ' and
famijy.
Mrs. Stacey of Wingham is
still confined to hospital in
Sarnia, where she suffered a
heart .attack while visiting
her daughter, Mrs. Relison
Falconer, Mr. Falconer and
family.
Mrs. Jim Smith and.Bobby

of Goderieh are' staying with
her mother, Mrs. Bob Ad-
ams, while her husband, Jim
Smith, and David Adams are
on a business trip to Florida.

home from.Wingham Hospit-
al on Friday. ,

Mrs.. Gordon Wall • of
Wingham returned home on
Tuesday, January 9, after
being a. patient in St. Jos-
eph's Hospital; Londein and -
later in Wingfiam Hospital
after a fall on ice in whigh she
suffered a broken' hip and,
also, a broken arm. She is
improving satisfactorily.
Folks .who have electric
clock alarms may haveslept
in Saturday morning. Arobnd
' here the hydro was off for
31/4 hours during the night.
Services at the Presbyter-
ian Church in Whitecffureh
was cancelled on,Sunday due
to the stormy weather.-
