The minutes of December - meetings were adopted as read onthe motion of conn- cillors McBride and Gibb. Motions -were made for 'the following appointments for 1979: Representative to the Maitland Valley Conserva- tion Authority is George McBride; Dave Gibb and George McBride to the Whitechurch Community Hall Board; .the .reeve,Barry Johnston, to the Lucknow and District Medical Centre; ,• Grant Eckenswiller and Dave Eadie to the Holyrood . Hall board; George. McBride and Dave Eadie to the Lucknow and District Fire committee and finally, George McBride, Dave Gibb, June Gilchrist, Anne Nicolson, Jark Mali, Bill Gibson and Bruce Bush- ell,, to the Kinloss Recreation committee.. Tenders adcepted included. that of• . B.P. Canada for gasoline, diesel and furnace oil and that of John C. Wood. to survey and draft a refer- ence plan ,of part of lot 36, cotacbssion, 4, in Kinloss Township as ' per tendered price and Ministry of Tran- sportation and Communica- tions approval. • • On motion of councillors Gibb and McBride, the clerk was instructed to advise the County of Bruce Land. Div- ision committee' that council has no objection to the reapplication of Mary Cle- land for a severance on part. of lots .51 and 52 conditional upon the . owner' of the severed.lot being responsible for snow removal on sideroad ,15 to provide for access to highway 86. The clerk was also instruc- ted to advertise in four local weekly papers that effective January 1st, 1979, .applica- -tions for building permits will be issued by the Town- ship .Clerk during regular office'' hours at the .clerk's office.
