in the Kincardine Winter
Games arict,, came home
with the Consolation
Championship. •
In this tournament
were teams from C, B,
- and mini* teams from
bigger cities.
Kincardine defeated
Niagara On the Lake -for
the Championship. •
In the first game
Lucknow played '•Bay
Ridges near Pickering
and lost 6-5, getting
scored on , in the last
minute. The, bigger ice
surface and the Christ-
maslayoff seemed to
have its effect on the
boys,. Scoring for
Lucknow were Larry
MacPherson,' Barry
Elphick, Steve Simpson.,
and Kevin Clarice with
two. . • •
In game two,. the locals
squared off against
Fergus coming out on top
of a high scoring game 10-
7. The locals started fat
going ahead 6-1, then a
small nightmare took
place. Partway through
the third. period Fergui
went ahead 7-6; aided b5
