with call to worship. Service
was taken from the Glad Tid-
ings ..and also , taking part
were Mrs. Doug Martyn and
Mrs. Russell Swan as read-
ers.
Poems "What Is Christ-
Inas" and "Silver. Bells"
were read by, Mrs. -Swan
,followed by unison reading
-The Christmas „ Creed".
Stories were told of Christ-
mas Customs from Hungary,
Australia, Ukraine and India'.
Mrs. MacLean used' as
meditation, - the spirit at
Christmas should be kept all,
year long. Mrs. Earl Howes
presented Mrt. Warren
Wylds with a life member-
ship certificate ..for all her

More than 1,000 people attended UCO's. 31st Annual
Meeting; December 12 at Toronto's Royal York Hotel.
Included among those were 400 delegates representing .73
branches and 52 member co-operatives' of United Co=operat
ives.of Ontario Delegates reviewed progress made during the
fiscal year. ending September 30;.1978. and participated in an
afternoon question period.
The Annual Meeting represents a ` culmination of the

fall :meetings in each: orUCO's nine elector f zones.
