Miss Edna Wall of London, Billie Wall of Toronto and his friend Marvin Fabler, spent Christmas week-end with the former's parents, Mr, and Mrs. WHITECHURCH-- On Thursday evening Chalmers Presbyterian Sunday School held its Christmas concert in the Sunday School room with Rev. Gordon Fish of Wingham as chairman. Pianist was Mrs. Donald Ross. Opening choruses were sung by the Sun- day School. The welcome was recited by David Elliott. Piano solos were given by Ruth Elliott and Irene De Boer sang a carol. Recitations were given by David Ross, Cecil De Boer, Jim De Boer and Paul Elliott. A peace charade was given. A quartette, Douglas Ross, Jim and Cecil De Boer, and Murray Simpson sang "Willy Claus". A group told how to put Christ in Christmas. The Sunday School sang " &isle Snowflake" and " 0 Little Town of Bethlehem" . The kindergarten's ideas of Santa Claus were given by David Ross, David Elliott, and Donald De Boer with Mrs. V. Emerson asking the questions. The little boys showed their love for other children when they agreed to give their fav- orite toy to any child to whom Santa wouldn't come. The congregation then sang two Christmas carols. Ira Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Wall and family were Monday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wall and family of Langside. The collection was received by Paul Elliott and Paul Laidlaw, The singing of the Queen closed the concert. Mr. Fish presented awards for perfect attendance to Don- ald, Jim and Cecil De Boer and David Elliott; one Sunday absent, Bobbie Ross, Kathy and Lori Purdon, Douglas Ross and Janie Laidlaw; two Sundays absent, David Ross, Paul Elliott.
