satisfied with the "old school" crest plus his Belgrave
Midget championship crest. But that wasn't why he went
into this dance. He was clowning for the high school

Dear Problems:
I am a sixteen year old boy
and going steady with a four-
teen year old girl. The other
night she gave me my ring
back. I asked her why she did
not want to go steady. She
said she didn't want to be stuck
with one fellow but I found out
different. Earlier in the day
some of my old jealous girl-
friends talked her into breaking
up with me. That night I
hardly slept, or ate very much
the next day. What if all girls
were like this? What should I
do?
Heartbroken
Dear Heartbroken;
I have no idea what your
old jealous girlfriends told your
steady, however, the fact is,
was it true? Have a talk with
her and tell her your side. If
she still insists upon breaking
up go along with her. You are
both still young. Don't lose
sleep or weight over her though,
but look around for someone
else. One other thing, I don't
believe all girls are like this
but I also don't see anything
wrong with a fourteen year old
girl deciding she doesn't want
to go steady. Remember she is
still very young.

Dear Problems:

We have a friend, sixteen
years old, who still does not
use deodorant, She is a real
sweet kid, cute and she would
have even more friends if she
didn't "smell" so bad. We
just don't have the heart to
come right out and tell her,
but it must be done, and soon!
Would you please advise us
on the best way of going about
it. We would appreciate it

Worrying Friends
Dear Friends:
I would suggest that the
best way to let your friend know.
about her problem is to go to
her mother and tell her the
situation. Ask her if she would
talk to her daughter about us-
ing deodorant. If this is incon-
venient or impossible perhaps
one among you could explain
her problem to her as pleasant-
ly as possible, As good friends
I think it's your duty to inform
her and I think she'll be very
grateful to you. Good luck.

was received from the students
inside, but outside in the driz-

When the Huron Perth play-
offs began last Tuesday the
home crowd was treated to an
18-0 victory over the Mitchell
Blue Devils as Wingham moved
into the semi-finals against
Goderich.
It was a fairly wet day but
that failed to dampen the Mus-
tangs' spirits as they ran over,
through and around the Mitchel:
team. The team was at full
strength and the defense, which
never let Mitchell inside the
Wingham 25-yard line , was
at their very best as they held
their opponents scoreless during
the entire game.
The offense, led by quarter-
back Dave Gowing opened the
scoring in the first quarter,
when Dave threw a 20-yard
touchdown pass to brother Neil
Gowing. The outstanding ef-
fort in the game was the run-
ning ability of the Mustang
fullbacks, Randy McGlynn and
Doug Gibson. The timing and
action was perfect, as Randy
pounded over the Mitchell goal
for the second Wingham touch-
down. Playing both ways in
the game, Randy was on the
ball as he picked up a Mitchell
fumble and ran it back 60 yards
for his second major of the day,
leaving the score 18-0.
The game would have been
