BELGRAVE-- The Hi-C met
in the church basement with 22
present. The meeting opened
with the secretary's and treas-
urer's reports given by Ronald
McBurney. Ruth Ann Pletch
will be in charge of the next
meeting.
Joyce Coultes conducted woi,-
ship service. "Will your Anch-
or Hold", was sung and Scrip-
ture was read by Linda McGee.
Richard Anderson and Clayton
Bosman received the offering.
Joyce Coultes led in prayer.
They divided into groups to
discuss prejudice in the school.
Recreation was led by Linda
McGee and the meeting closed
with Taps.

fourth line neighbours gathered
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Garner Nicholson on Friday
evening to celebrate their 25th
wedding anniversary. The ev-
ening was spent playing cards
and showing pictures.
An address was read by Mr.
Robert Procter and Harold
Keating presented them with
a table lamp on behalf of the
neighbors. Mr. and Mrs. Nich-
olson made a fittingly reply.

meeting were read by Bonnie
Cook. Cathy Chandler read
treasurer's report.
Mrs, John Gnay took the
Bible study "Encounters with
Jesus", and questions were an-
swered. The worship was eon-
ducted by Brenda and Bonnie
COok. Psalm 103 was read and
a hymn and Taps closed the
meeting,
WESTERN VISITORS
BELGRAVE -- Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Welsh of Milk River,
Alberta visited with Vincent
relatives last Monday and Tues-
day.
Before their return home,
about 40 McDowell relatives
met in the Belgrave arena on
Tuesday night to renew old
acquaintances with Mr. and
Mrs. Welsh. Those present
were from Stratford, Cooks-
town, Hensall, Brussels, Au-
burn, Westfield and Blyth.
Farewell party
for Conlan family
WHITECHURCH -- On Fri-
day friends and neighbours of
Mr. and Mrs. George Conlan,
Con. 6, Culross gathered in
Langside community hall to do
them honor before they moved
to the Belmore community.
Cards and crokinole were en-
joyed.
Bill Bates read an address
and a coffee table and match-
ing step up tables were present-
ed to Mr. and Mrs. Conlan by
Bob Bregman, Bruce Bates and
Donald Scott. A dresser lamp
was presented to Laura Conlan
by Kenny Scott.
Mr. Conlan thanked their
friends for the gifts and for the
party put on in their honor,

visited at Seaforth on Sunday.
