Mrs. Hupfer went on to visit at the home of her sister, Mrs. Orm Beaupre of Grosse Point Farms, Mich., while Mrs. Griffith and Mrs. McCutcheon visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hupfer of Mel- Vinci ale, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hart, Patti, Susan and Dianne spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs, Lee Hayton (Nancy New- ton) at North Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hart, Cliff and Donald Hart of Holm- esville visited at the home of Mr. John Hupfer on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Statia and Kim of Topping were week- end guests with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wes Heimpel and Mr. Doug Statia. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ing- ram visited Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Ingrain in Stratford on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hupfer of Melvindale, Mich., and Miss Evelyn Hupfer of Wing- ham called on Mr. Vernon Hup- fer, Mr. John Hupfer, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hupfer and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McMichael on Sunday. HURON TEAM WINS 4-H COM- PETITION BLUEVALE-- On October 20 the provincial 4-H judging competition was held at Guelph University. The championship team for the swine clubs was from Huron County, and con- sisted of Doug Garniss of R.R.4 Wingham, and Graeme Craig, R.R.1 Walton.
