Notice some real improvement in the scores. Bill Brown roll- ed two good games, 203, 230, for high double with teammate David Walker in fine form ashe rolled a 253 single. Nice shoot- ing, eh? For the girls it was a real battle with Jane Ann Neth- ery getting full honors with 164 single and 262 double but Chris- tine Kreger with 150 single and Jeanette Riley with 146 single made a real bid for the single honors. Games over 150 not men- tioned above were Barry Gard- ner 170, Steven Tiffili 168,"4 Paul Forsyth 156, Paul Swat- ridge 150, Barry Fish 151, Lar- ry Simmons 175, Steven Wat- son 186, Bruce Skinn 154 and Torn McLaughlin 168. After the last pin fell here's how they stood: Candice's Crooks 1500, Kathy's Killers 2328, Jane Ann's Gentries 1305, Ruth Ann's Rollers 1207 (glad to see Ruth Ann Readman back with the gang). Jeanette's Jets 1167, Marilyn's Musketeers 1138. BANTAMS Wow! Those Tweeties were sure churning up the pins and to the pack with pinfall of 1045 with Batmen next in line with 912, Caspers 790, Bunnies 778, Ducks 716, Lulus 699. Roger Tiffin took full honors with 193 single, 339 double. Keep up the good work Roger; see you beat the big brother in both games. Lois McLaughlin took girls high single with 142 and double 244. Gals over 110, Marlene Foxton 114, Jo-Anne Croskill 119, Cindy Cook 121, Lori Henderson 114, Pat Willie 127. INTERMEDIATES John Phillips had top single 250 with Larry Gordon rolling high double 416. Looks as if Barb Dauphin lost full honors to cousin Linda Cerson as Linda rolled 188 single, beating Barb by one pin, and came back in second game with 176 for a very fine 364 double. Hitting:oven20C1 were Bruce Boyd 206, Don Collar 214, Ron Goy 207, Rick Gardner 200, Richard Wharton 209, Larry Gordon 240, Ross Caslick 210, Jim Henderson 223 (what hap- pened in that second game Jim -- the wheel fall off?) Still another week to go and not too much separating these teams. Looks like a battle royal next week, 0-0-0 A special thanks to a real sport (that's not how Marty des- cribes him on that Red Front ad) Bill Hotchkiss who donated six cartons of pop, which he won, to our group. Thanks Bill -- Sorry 1 forgot to get the list of the winners. Will give them next week. Well gang, this Saturday wraps up the playoffs. Let's get in there and pitch some good games. President Lloyd Casemore chaired the meeting at which reports from the several committees were presented. The 1966-1967 sea- son showed plenty of activity along the curling lines although bonspiels were not all that was desired. The Ladies Club had an outstanding year with their activities. Several suggestions were brought forth to improve the facilities and to improve curl- ing in general. Since costs are ever increasing for everything a motion was introduced and passed to increase the fees to $35.00 per season. The chairman gave an ad- dress with enough wit to keep those present not only interest- ed, but they thoroughly enjoy- ed his talk. He thanked all those who had so energetically assisted him during the season in office. III (11(1 Ail firlOilf111111111rtl.11111111--rIT C UCi C)An.
