Christmas comes but once a year and lasts all month.
As it gets nearer to the Big Day, most of us get more
of a hustle on to finish (or start) our Christmas shopping.
Early or late, we consumers are due to break all records
in Christmas spending, according to the economists. The
third quarter of this year just past recorded a gain in con-
sumer outlays of almost $1 billion, This is nearly double the
gain marked up in the second quarter.
The fourth quarter of the year we are now in is con-
tinuing at a high rate,
If you're stuck for something to buy your beloved and
You REALLY wish to make an impression, this is an excel-
lent time to buy a car for HER. Or the family. Or for
daddy himself. Business is traditionally quiet and dealers
traditionally averse to just sitting around listening to the
overhead pile up.
But match good sense with savings and think of future
service needs too!
Drive with courtesy, caution and special consideration
of others this Christmas season. "Don't drive as if you own
the road - do drive as if you own the car:,
This is our second Christmas in the car business in
Wingham. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our
many friends for Their confidence and loyalty.
However you celebrate it, all of uur people join in ex-
tending you our sincere wishes for a happy holiday.
