Carol service
in United Church
BLUEVALE--A candlelight
and carol service was held in
the United Church on Sunday
evening and was well attended.
The Christmas story was told in
a delightful manner with songs
and readings. The choir, un-
der the leadership of Mrs. Carl
Johnston, provided excellent
seasonal music, consisting of
solos, duets and trios.
The Scripture readings were
given by Mrs. George Hether-
ington. Candle lighting, ac-
companied by appropriate read-
ings, was in charge of GailMc-
Lennan, Nancy Brewer, Jane
and Ruth Campbell.
The church decorations,
candlelight and lovely Christ-
mas carols all blended to make
this a very impressive service.
