CHEESE
2 cups uncooked wide
noodles
1 pound frankfurters, cut
in 1-inch pieces
it cup undiluted evapor-
ated milk
V:, teaspoon each salt,
Worcestershire, and
prepared mustard
teaspoon pepper
cup grated Cheddar
cheese
Cook noodles and frankfurters in boiling water until
noodles are tender. Drain. Mix evaporated milk with
seasonings, and add with cheese to noodles and frank-
furters, Heat thoroughly. stirring gently. 4 servings,

Sunday with his mother, Mrs.
Robert Ross.
Mrs. Charles Page, Mrs.
Watson Garbutt and Mrs. Glea-
son Gill of Mitchell were Fri-
day visitors with Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Coultes.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Laid-

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Under-
wood moved into the apart-
ment above Chapman's store on
Tuesday. We welcome them
to the community.
On Wednesday, Mr. John
Gaunt was admitted to Wing-
ham and District Hospital.
The November meeting of
the W.I., with the agriculture
committee in charge, will be a
family night in the community
hall next Wednesday with a pot
luck supper at 7 p.m. Flostesses
are the East Group, Mrs. Tom
Metcalfe, Mrs. Frank Ross,
Mrs, Russell McGuire, Mrs.Jlm
Currie, Mrs. Ed, Walker and
Mrs. George Walker. Roll call
is "What I think of the Women's
Institute" which will he answer,
ed by the husbands. A variety
program will be prepared by the
program committee and George
Ge3T, agricultural representa-
tive of Walkerton, will he the
speaker.

were Sunday visitors with Mrs.

Paisley vicinity. Mrs. Webb is
an aunt of Mrs. Conn.
Visitors on Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon McBurney and
family were Mr. and Mrs. Ken
Barbour and family of Morris
Township.
Workshop Held at
Chalmers Church.
WIIITKRURCII—On Thurs-
day the 14,,,M,,S, Workshop of
the PreSbyteriai was held at
Chalmers Presbyterian Church.
Mrs, Sutherland presided,
Miss Nutt was leader of the
senior group in the church audi-
torium, discussing with them,
the new study book, "The cost-
tribution of the church to the
Development of Canada".
Miss Dorothy Keller discuss,-
ed with C. O. C. C. G. I. T,
and Explorer leaders their work
in the Sunday school room of
the church. Around 100 were in
attendance and lunch was serv-
ed by the Whitechurch Auxil-
iary in the Community Memor-
ial Hall.

bets answered roll call with a
day's menus planned for their
families, at the meeting at
Darlene Simpson's. Sandra
Fisher read the minutes.
Discussion centred on var-
iety and process meats. The
group worked on menus, book
covers and the planning of the
club exhibit.
Darlene Simpson made
braised liver cooked with vege-
tables which was served at
lunch, along with extra lunch
supplied by her mother, Mrs.
Hugh Simpson.

OFFICIAL OPENING of the new headquar-
ters for the Ontario Institute for Studies in
Education was signalled when Hon. William
G. Davis, Ontario Minister of Education, cut
a ribbon enclosing a model of the building
at 102 Bloor Street West, Toronto, where
the OISE occupies 11 of the 14 floors. Left
to right are: Dr. R. W. B. Jackson, director
p
of the Institute; Mr. Davis; and Mr. Justice
Bora Laskin, chairman of the board of gov-
ernors. Dr. Jackson gave full credit to Mr.
Davis for establishment of the OISE in 1965
and said, "Not since Egerton Ryerson has so
much been accomplished by one man, and
never in so short a period of time."
