DOUG ALCORN was entered
in the discus throw at WD
HS Field Day.
BY GEORGE JARDINE, 12A
Friday hailed the observance
of Track and Field Day at W.
D. H. S. It was a day of compe-
tition between the Wingham
high school students to qualify
as contestants at the Huron-
Perth competition. It is hoped
that our winners in each event
work hard during the winter and
will next spring bring top hon-
ors home to Wingham.
On such a fine day, and with
enthusiasm and physical ability
at a peak, it is no wonder that
the results were excellent.

were Sharon Stanley and Allan
Colwell with 18 points each;
intermediate champions, Ther-
esa DeBruyn and Norman Cor-
rin, 16 points each; and junior

THE LONG, STUDIED
SHAGGY LOOK
PURE ST. TROPEZ
The CUT: This hair style
is essentially all in the
cutting. The hair all falls
from the center of the
crown. The hair around
the face is a layered cut
to give the short flips in-
to the face. The majority
of the hair is very long on
the shoulders & natural
at the ends. No blunt edges.
To SET: Even though this
is an extremely casual,
shaggy look the hair must
have frequent washing &
care. After washing, the
hair should be brushed un-
til dry and suddenly -
that International look-
ing Eli.
