day evening Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Gillespie, Lorraine and Barry,
and Mr. and Mrs. West of Sar-
nia, Mr. and. Mrs. Cameron
Simmons of London, Mr. and
Mrs. Don Gillespie, Cathy and
Ronnie, and Mr. and Mrs. Don
Bushell, Janet, Shirley, Bruce

Toronto surprised Mr. and Mrs.
Garnet Farrier by arriving at
their home to celebrate with
them their 25th wedding anni-
versary which was October 4th.
The evening was spent play-
ing cards and enjoying music of
the Farrier orchestra.
After lunch Elroy Laidlaw
addressed the bride and groom
of 25 years ago and Misses Jo-
ann Laidlaw and Janet Bushell
presented them with a gift of
money.
Visitors on Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Tiffin were
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnston
and Janette of E. Wawanosh,
Mr. and Mrs. George Young,
Mrs. Russel Ritchie, Mrs. Fred
Fells, Susan, Patricia and Ro-
bert of Toronto, Mn, and Mrs.
Bill Brown of Lucknow, Mr. and
Mrs. George Carey and Paul of
Chatham, Mrs. Adelaide John-

Mrs. Elmer Huffman, Darlene

For School Buses
The regular meeting of Mor•
ris T.S.A. Board was held in
Brussels School October 5, J,
Stewart was absent,
A motion that a bonus of
$100 be paid to each teacher
successfully completing a sum-
mer course was passed and sup-
ply teachers will be paid at the
rate of $18.00 per day. Pupils
will be allowed one day to at-
tend the Ploughing Match.
Pupils in Morris Township
will be picked up, when buses
are in operation at the point of
the residental farm lot nearest
to the bus route.
Contracts for school buses in
Morris Township will be award-
ed as follows; Jtoute 2 to Bel-
grave school, Frank Elliott for
$4900; Route 6 to Brussels
school, Ralph Pearson for
$5000; Route 7 to Brussels school,'
Glen Smith for $4248; Route 8,
to Blyth school, R. D. Mc-
Clinchey, for $4500, In each
case an additional 20 cents per
mile will be paid for any in-
crease in mileage to be added
to any route.
It was moved that the East
half of concession seven be add-
ed to route 7 as outlined in the
original schedule.

was held at Judy King's. Roll
call was "A dessert suitable for
supper". -Group work included
three dishes, a Humpty Dump-
ty Salad, Cheese Fondue and
Rice and Cheese Casserole with
a medium white sauce.
The discussion was on meal
planning, leftovers and the use
of meat and meat alternates for
supper.

sic depicting interesting hap-
penings in their lives and Clif-
ford Farrier presented the gifts.
