4 or 5 pork chops % cup chili sauce
(%-inch thick) 2 tbsps. brown sugar
Salt and pepper 2 tbsps. water
4 or 5 thin slices of
lemon
Preheat oven to 3500 P. Brown chops on both sides. Sea-
son with salt and pepper. Transfer thent to a baking pan.
Top each with a lemon slice, Combine chili sauce, brown
sugar and water. Pour mixture over Chops. covet' closely.
Bake, covered, for about 45 minutes, Then uncover, and
continue to bake for 15 minutes or until chops are Well
done, Baste occasionally and add a little mere water, if
necessary. Makes 4 or 5 Servings,
