short illness.
Mrs. Arehart, the former
Annie MacDonald, was born in

School of Nursing in Battle
Creek, having graduated in

Mrs. Peter Anderson of Wing-
ham; a nephew, Redmond Mac-
Donald of R.R. 2 Wingham;
two nieces, Mrs. Leslie Will of
Trenton and Mrs. Virginia Flint
of Port Huron; a step-daughter,
Mrs. Helen Woolworth, Tracy,
Calif.
The funeral service was con-
ducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday
from the Pollock-Jowett funer-
al home. Burial was in Lake-
side Cemetery, Port Huron.

GORRIE—Walter James King,
69, of Gorrie died Thursday at
Groves Memorial Hospital, Fer-
gus.
He was the son of the late
James King and his wife, the
former Susanna Ellis and was
born at Gorrie March 2, 1897.
He farmed on Concession 11
Howick Twp. for many years
before coming to Gorrie.
He was a member of St.
Stephen's Anglican Church.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Viola Wenzel; four step-
daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth)
King of Gorrie, Mrs. Norman
(Emily) Beatty, Tara; Mrs.
Alex, (Betty) Gillen, Harriston
and Mrs. John (Pauline) Kneale
of Ottawa; one step-son, George
Heinm flier, of Vancouver, B.C.;
one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Rose-
borough of Owen Sound.
Funeral service was held at
the Moir funeral home, Gorrie
on Sunday, conducted by Rev,
Harold Jenkins of St. Stephen's
Anglican Church. Pallbearers
were Earl Underwood, Burns
Stewart. Wesley Gallaway,
Frank King, Blake McMillan
and Harold King.
Burial was in Gorrie Ceme-
tery.

Dies in Detroit
GORRIE—Justin Glen Will of
Kingsville died Thursday in De-
troit following a heart attack,
He was a son of Mrs. Justin
Will of Blytheswood and the
late Mr. Will. He was botn
October 17, 1927 at Staples.
Mr. Will farmed on Conces-
sion 15, Howiek Township be-
fore moving to Kingsville.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Dorothy Hellier; two
daughters, Janice, 16 and Vic-
ki, 13; a son, Douglas, 11, all
at home; his mother, Mrs. ins.-
