On Sunday morning, Rev.
A. E. Willis conducted bap-
tismal service in St. Helens
Church when Elizabeth Ann
Black, daughter of F./L. and
Mrs. Keith Black of Middleton,
N.S. was baptized. The Black
family is spending two weeks'
vacation with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon McPherson,
Miss Verna Aitchison has
been holidaying with Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Wilson and family of
Hamilton at a cottage at Port
Dover.
Randy Barbour of Listowel is
holidaying with Dayle McDon-
ald.
On Saturday evening, Miss
Dawna Aitchison was guest of
honor in St. Helens Hall at a
miscellaneous shower, when SO
relatives and neighbors gather-
ed. Dawna, who is employed
at Strathroy, is being married
on September 9th at White-
church.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen McDon-
ald of London left on Friday
morning for Germany where
Glen will teach for the next two
years, Mrs. McDonald is the
former Beverley Gaunt of this
community.

vierre united Linda Dianne Kas-
ter and Beverly James Dietrich
in marriage on August 13 at
St. Joseph's Roman Catholic
Church, Listowel. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
David Kaster of Fordwich and
the groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Edwin Dietrich, R. R. 3
Listowel.
The organist was Mrs. Carl
Linesman and the soloist was
Miss Leslie Campbell of Ford-
wich. She sang "Wedding
Prayer" and "0 Perfect Love",
Mr. Kaster gave his daugh-
ter in marriage.
The bride's formal ensemble
featured a peau de soie sheath
sleeveless gown with scoop neck

scalloped lace coat had a
jewelled neckline and lily-
point sleeves, lier four-tiered
veil was caught by a coronet of
crystal heads and she carried
yellow roses,
Miss Linda Dietrich, sister
of the groom, was maid of hon-
or: She wore a yellow lace
floor-length sheath dress with
chilion overskirt and matching
headdress, filer flowers were
white mums and carnations.

rich of Listowel. The ushers
were Wayne Dietrich of Listo-
wel and Gordon Kaster of Ford-
wich, and Larry Dietrich was

The dinner was held at Ford-
wich United Church where the
bride's table was centred with
the three storey wedding cake.
The tables were decorated with
yellow and white flowers.
A reception and dance fol-
low( in the evening at the Le-
g' flan in Listowel,
he bride's mother wore a
copen blue dress of chiffon ov-
er lace with pink accessories
and the groom's mother chose a
two-piece linen suit with white
accessories. Each wore a white
gladioli corsage..
The bride's travelling cos-
tume was a pink knitted suit
with black accessories and cor-
sage of pink mums.
They will live in Kitchener.

Boehler attended the Boehler
reunion, held in the Legion
Hall in Listowel on Sunday.
Seventy attended from Kitch-
ener, Chesley, Gorrie, Sea-
forth, Toronto, Fordwich and
Listowel.
Mr. Wm; Boehler received
the prize as the oldest man pre-
sent. Mrs. Tillie Holtzman of
Kitchener was the oldest lady
and Leslie Anne Matheson of
Listowel was the youngest.
