Sorghum • Sudangrass Hybrid
This fast-germinating hybrid grass
supplies livesiock with lush, pro-
tein high feeding right through
summer dry spells. Farmers who
planted Greenlan last summer had
green, nutritious pasture, when
other pasture was burnt and
brown. Greenlan needs no pam-
pering. It adapts readily to soils,
temperatures and moisture con-
ditions. Flourishes so rapidly that
it may be used or cut soon after
seeding. The thick growth pro-
vides up to 50% more forage
than some common sudan-grasses.
Cut frequently or use as pasture.

GORRIE—Howick Council ac-

because they'll tell you what
makes them grow fast
Your hogs tell you a lot about the quality of the ration
you'refeeding—their rate of gain indicates the balance
of nutrients, how good it is, and the feed conversion
lets you know how efficient the ration is.
Purina Hog Chow is a concentrate specially designed
to speed your hogs to market. Tests at Purina Research
Farm prove that its balance of energy, proteins, and
antibiotics, micro-mixed by Purina's precise process
helps you finish quality hogs
early and at economical cost.
Try Purina Hog Chow on your
next bunch of hogs—it helps
make your grain go further and
your hogs grow faster.

YOU NEED SHUR-GAIN
Pasture Dairy Ration
Despite the fact dairy cattle were fed well all
winter they could loose weight if fed only lush,
green pasture. Pastures are high in protein but
low in carbohydrates and energy.
