Lit. Meeting
On Friday we had our final
Lit meeting which was as en-
tertaining as the previous ones
this year. Darryl Gibson read
the Journal and Dave Wenger
did an imitation of Shelley Ber-
man.
The students were pleased to
have those boys on the program
again who provided such enjoy-
able music at earlier meetings,
Allan Leggatt, Wesley De-
Zeeuw, Brian Caslick, Brian
McKague, Mac Ross, and Ray
Corrin whose performance on
the trumpet is always a high-
light of the program. They
played two numbers.
A skit about a radio broad-
cast was presented by 10C. Tak-
ing part were Pat Walker, Anne
Old field, Marilyn Strong,
George Valiance, Brian Miller,
Brad Gadke and Lee Wenger.
harry busby and Neil Ren-
wick sang two numbers and pro-
vided their own accompani-
ment with guitars.
Boys Item 10A, Doug Elliott,
Bryan Forsyth, Neil Cowing,
Neil Graham and Jim Hender-
son portrayed soldiers stranded
in the desert.
Doug Elliott called on Mr.
and Mrs. McCauley to play a
game of "Mr. and Mrs.", simi-
lar to the program of the same
name seen on television, They
played the game and were real-
ly good sports about it, too.
Norm Corrin made the pre-
sentation of awards to the win-
ners of the previous week's
track and field meet.
Grade Pa girls presented a
short skit in which they were
rebels in the ranks of the armed
service. Jim Nasmith gave the
final number on the program,
