Meeting On Friday we had our final Lit meeting which was as en- tertaining as the previous ones this year. Darryl Gibson read the Journal and Dave Wenger did an imitation of Shelley Ber- man. The students were pleased to have those boys on the program again who provided such enjoy- able music at earlier meetings, Allan Leggatt, Wesley De- Zeeuw, Brian Caslick, Brian McKague, Mac Ross, and Ray Corrin whose performance on the trumpet is always a high- light of the program. They played two numbers. A skit about a radio broad- cast was presented by 10C. Tak- ing part were Pat Walker, Anne Old field, Marilyn Strong, George Valiance, Brian Miller, Brad Gadke and Lee Wenger. harry busby and Neil Ren- wick sang two numbers and pro- vided their own accompani- ment with guitars. Boys Item 10A, Doug Elliott, Bryan Forsyth, Neil Cowing, Neil Graham and Jim Hender- son portrayed soldiers stranded in the desert. Doug Elliott called on Mr. and Mrs. McCauley to play a game of "Mr. and Mrs.", simi- lar to the program of the same name seen on television, They played the game and were real- ly good sports about it, too. Norm Corrin made the pre- sentation of awards to the win- ners of the previous week's track and field meet. Grade Pa girls presented a short skit in which they were rebels in the ranks of the armed service.
