Be sure to be present -- who knows, you might even be one of the big award winners and we have something for everyone, COMMERCIAL LEAGUE Another bowling season has become water under the bridge and now belongs to the "Do you remember?" group. It seemed as if we were just beginning our season by the sound of the yell- ing and shouting, and after the last bowl went rolling down the lane, Argonauts came out on top with a total of 12,021. Ti- cats came in second with 11, - 717, Alouettes with 11,579; Stampeders 11, 561; Rough Rid- ers 11,136 and last with points were the Bombers with 11,058. However, a poll among the Bombers indicated that while they may have been last all the way through the season as far as standings, they all felt they were first as far as enjoyment and fun. I take this opportunity to thank the Advance-Times again for their forebearance, such as waiting for the news, then hav- ing to Translate what is sent in. And, to all you Commercial Leaguers, may I say that it has been a pleasure to join you each Tuesday night. A more con- genial group I have yet to meet, and I hope we bowl together for many more years. May you all have a good and most impor- tant, a safe summer, a good rest, and will see you all next Fall.
