COMMERCIAL LEAGUE The trophy winners for the
season are Bill Johnston with the
high average of 230; Barry Fry-
fogle had the high single of
378 and Ken Saxton Jr. with
886 for the high triple.
Last Monday night saw the
start of the playoffs and the
Geminis came from the cellar
to the top, with a total pinfall
of 3,440 followed by the Moon
Doggies with 2,387; Mercurys
3, 188; Explorers 3, 143; Appal-
los 3,104 and the first place
tea5mat the end of the regular
season, now in the cellar with
2,
40.
in second place with 8818. Not
Bill Hotchkiss picked up all
1the honors with a high single of
too far behind them, only 54 303 and a 789 triple. Honor-
pins, in fact, are the Alouettes
with 8704. The season's
champs are in fourth place with
8560; Rough Riders have 8319
and last, but certainly not least
are the Bombers with 8182. So,
as I said before, anyone can
win the playoffs.
Also, through unexpected
circumstances, the date of the
bowling banquet has been chang-
ed. Our banquet will be held
at the Legion as previously stat-
ed, but on Tuesday, May 3rd at
6.30 p.m. Please make a note
of this date. Next week will
see the end of our bowling sea-
son for 1965-66, So, for the
last night of playoffs, again, I
wish you luck.

INTERMEDIATES
Rickey Gardner was in fine
form as he rolled the high sin-
gle of the day, a 258. Bruce
Boyd continued to be in top
form as he put together games
of 235 and 207 to take high
double with 442.
For the gals, Patti King took
both honors with 165 single and
308 double. The Walnuts had
high pinfall 1751 and jumped
into first place. Those break-
ing the 200 mark, Larry Gordon
223, Don Collar 20'7, Doug El-
liott 223, Mike White 200.
With one week left, stand-
ing is as follows, Walnuts 4656,
Maples 4408, Pines 4291, Oaks

3768.
JUNIORS
Who is going to end on top?
That is the question. A real
battle in this group with top
spots changing each week like
a game of musical chairs. The
Hawks with a full team on
hand had the high pinfall of
1335 and jumped from fourth to
first place, so you can see how
close the race for top spot is,
Steven Langridge took high
double with 327 with David
Walker right on his heels with
303 double. Dave Balser took
high single with 191 followed
by Paul Swatridge with a fine
174 single. Ruth Ann Readman
took all honors for the girls with
160 single and 295 double.
With only one week to go,
as they head down the stretch
here's how they stand: Hawks
3699; Wings and Rangers tied
with 3550; Leafs 3440; Bru i ns
3439; Habs 3150. It's anyone's
title so don't let your team
d own be sure and be out to
bowl this last week.
BANTAMS
The Greens continued to
hold top spot, but the Whites
are beginning to close the gap
as they came up with high pin-
fall for the week.
Lois McLaughlin had the top
single of 151, even topping all
the boys. Come on group --
let's not let the girls take these
top honors again! Bradley Sim-
mons continued to be the stead-
iest bowler in the league as he
put together games ktf 120 and
119 for high double A-t.
Others breaking the 10n mark
were, Marlene Foxion io;`-.0, Bill
Staight 118, Julie Foxfon 112
and 117, Jay MacLacrin 104,
Tom McLaughlin 111,
With only one wee?. to go--
just two more lines, here's the
standing; Greens 22Kii, Whites
2002, Reds 1852, blues 1823.
Can the Greens hold onto that
lead?

would like to mention that our

Well, the tide has turned and
our low scoring teams for the
season have made an all-out ef-
fort and come up with such
good games, they are up in the
top brackets. Argonauts are in
first place with 9001; Ti-Cats
