Luck Runs Out In Tournament BELMORE—With all our brag- ging about the Squirts last week, their luck seemed to pass them by last week-end in an all-day hockey tournament at the Mild- may Arena. Everything was going their way in the first game, and they defeated Belgrave 7-1. Ross Jeffray was the star with three goals scored. Richard Inglis knocked in two, and Leland Harkness and Brian Woolcock one each. Seems with one win the boys got a bit too big for their brit- ches, so their second opposing team, Ripley, tanned those britches, but good! The score was again 7-1, but the Bel- more boys were on the shady side this time, Brian Woolcock the Ione scorer. Win or lose, though, it was an exciting day, a day of good clean fun for everyone. And don't ever think you have made us any less proud of you, team! Final Games Friday Night GORRIE—The junior hockey players will have one last fling before they hang up their skates for the season. The wind-up games will take place in the Wingharn Arena on Friday night, April 1, com- mencing at 6 o'clock. This will be a Belgrave, Gorrie, Wroxe- ter night when exhibition games will be played by the PeeWee, Tadpole, Squirt and Midget teams. Team to Play Owen Sound WHITECHURCH—On Wed- nesday evening the local broom- ball team played Bervie at the Lucknow rink and won with a score, 4-0. On Sunday the Whitechurch team played Hensel', at Hen-, sall and won 2-0. Whitechurch now advances to Owen Sound which is the last play-offgarne. If succesSful they receive a trophy. * CROWN THEATRE HARRISTON li1111111111111101111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 Lig:WM COMING NEXT WED.-THUR : APRIL 6.7-8 "THE BIG T.N.T.
