Belmore Rink
Wins Trophy
BELMORE—Let's face it! The
people in and around Belmore
are talented! There is nothing
they cannot do, not a trophy
they cannot win, if they put
their minds to it!
On Tuesday of last week, at
the farmers' curling bonspiel in
Harriston, the top honors and
the White Rose Trophy came
home to Delmore in the hands
of Mac Inglis, who skipped a
rink comprised of George Inglis,
Cecil Wilson and Bruce Hark-
ness. Theirs was the winning
score of the 11 o'clock draw,
and the highest of the day.
And as if that wasn't enough
honor, Clark Renwick and mem-
bers of his rink, Harold Wal-
lace, Dewey Adams and Jack
Inglis won fourth prize in the
day's activities. They lost
their first game to a rink from
Listowel, but won the second
and third over rinks from Pal-
merston and Mildmay.
Nice going, fellas! Keep
up the good work!
