The new spring project, to
begin early in March, will be
"Accent on Accessories". The
fall project will be "The Sup-
per Club" and the choice for
next spring is "The Club Girl
Entertains".
Brenda Wallace, Margaret
Jeffray and Ruby Haskins of the
Belmore Club, and Janet El-
liott and Sandra Hayden of the
Molesworth Club gave demon-
strations on "What Makes Good
Sleeping Garments?".
Exhibits on good sleeping
garments were given by Ethel
and Gorrie I clubs with Barbara
Thornton commentating for the
latter club. Kaye Wood com-
mentated for the exhibit by the
Lakelet I group on variety in
garments, and Kaye Wright
commentated on the same ex-
hibit by the Wroxeter Club.
Gorrie II presented a skit on
selecting material and pattern
with Jean Brown, Beverley New-
ton, Susan Templeman, Marg-
aret Bennett, Joyce Hamilton
and Janice Elschner taking part.
Marion Fischer and Barbara
Bremner took part in the Cran-
brook demonstration on the
same subject and a similar skit
was presented by members of
the Molesworth I Club.
Margaret Smith was corn-
mentator for Molesworth II
Club's exhibit on finishes for
sleeping garments. The exhibit
on the same subject prepared by
the Lakelet II group was com-
mentated on by Marion Douglas

Completec
County Honor pins and cer-
tificates for completing six pro-
jects were presented at the 4-H
Achievement Day in Howick
Central School on Saturday. Re-
ceiving these honors were Bren-
da Wallace, R. R. 2, Wingham;
Donna Alcock and Jeanne Pear-
son, Ethel; Sandra Allan, R. R.
Fordwich; Mary Douglas, Marg-
aret Koch, Helen Thornton and
Dawna Bennett, R. R. Gorrie;
Jean Smith, R. R, Listowel and
Sandra Hayden, R. R. Bluevale.
A five-year leadership award
was presented to Mrs. Harold
Wallace by Miss Diane Liddiard,
home economist for Huron.
Twelve clubs took part in the
day's activities, Each girl
completing the "Sleeping Gar-
ments" project was presented
with a silver spoon.

certificates to Jane Krauter of
Ethel, Doris Carswell of Ford-
