Funeral Tuesday, Rosie Powell, 12 Rosalind Ruby (Rosie) Powell, 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Edward Powell, Turnberry Township, died at the home of her parents on Sunday, January 16, Rosie was born in Wingham, June 3, 1953. She was a stu- dent at Turnberry Central School and attended Wingham United Church Sunday School. She is survived by her father and mother, the former Joyce Rosalind White; a brother, Thomas Powell of the Univer- sity of Guelph, and three sis- ters, Karen, Marjorie and Su- san, all at home; and grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Powell of Wingham and Mrs, Harry S. White of Port Hope. The funeral was Tuesday af- ternoon at the R. A. Currie & Son funeral home with inter- ment in Wingham Cemetery, Rev. Cecil M. Jardine officiat- ed. Pallbearers were neighbors on the 6th of Turnberry, Fred Lewis, William Uuldriks, Nor- man and William Ross, George Gallaway and David Haugh.
