Rosalind Ruby (Rosie) Powell,
12-year-old daughter of Mr.

the home of her parents on

Rosie was born in Wingham,
June 3, 1953. She was a stu-
dent at Turnberry Central
School and attended Wingham
United Church Sunday School.
She is survived by her father
and mother, the former Joyce
Rosalind White; a brother,
Thomas Powell of the Univer-
sity of Guelph, and three sis-
ters, Karen, Marjorie and Su-
san, all at home; and grand-
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
A. Powell of Wingham and Mrs,
Harry S. White of Port Hope.
The funeral was Tuesday af-
ternoon at the R. A. Currie &
Son funeral home with inter-
ment in Wingham Cemetery,
Rev. Cecil M. Jardine officiat-
ed.
Pallbearers were neighbors
on the 6th of Turnberry, Fred
Lewis, William Uuldriks, Nor-
man and William Ross, George
Gallaway and David Haugh.
The flower bearers were Goldie
Gallaway and Jack Ross, both of
the 6th of Turnberry.

ered for a surprise party at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. R. H.
Coultes, R. R. 5, Brussels, Sat-
urday evening prior to their
departure to live in Beigrave.
Progressive euchre was enjoyed,

Mrs. Russel Walker; low lady,
Mrs. Ross Higgins; high man,
Glenn Coultes; low man, Gor-
don Higgins; lone hands, Char-
lie Procter.
Following lunch an address
was read by Stan Hopper and
presentation made to Mr. and
Mrs. Coultes of an end table
and table lamp by Alex Neth-
ery. Mr. Coultes made a very

Hospital Association will be
