A. Newton, 231 Dovtroourt Road, Toronto The County my i\f Huron, we're all proud to say, Has turners out the noblest. men of our day; A number from Huron have "Sir" to their name, And others have climbed up the Bolder of fanne. The old county town produced men of renown - Messrs. Robertson, Cameron, Proudfoot and Ross; Also marrow and sleek, who ran neck and neck, You hardly could tell which of them was the "boss." The highest positions that Canada gives Are filled by the man who in Huron lived: In the army are generals, in. Parliament men When election is over may be premier then. The County of Huron, we are Nappy to state, Is going ahead at a vt'ry good rate; dart WW1 the inducement that Huron can There is no place in Canada better to live. 'When I went to that county I was but a lad. 'Twas hard then to get there, the roads were so bad; We -staged" it from Stratford with a man called Warner, And stopped at a place then called Rsttenbury Corner. It was. then but a hamlet at that time. you know. 'But in a few years you should see that place grow It sown got to be ratite a place of renown, Sao they called the place Clutton -that's Sob Holmes' Town. There are several more towns in that county that thrifts -- There are Bayfield and Brussels. and Winghara and Blyth: They all had their heroes :and were delighted to own Such as Stansbury. Voe. Graham, McDonald and Siimin, there's the old. Town of Winghant, its viae ro disgrace 're tell gkrst't you carie from that place*. For the !:banns thete fairly "boost" their own town.
